Jaina thinks Vincent putting Kyouko to sleep was just a little creepy, but she doesn't really get caught up on it anymore. It's a useful ability, and she likes practical things.
She's more worried about how slick he talks, and as a result if you asked her right now she'd say she doesn't really know Vincent. He's pretty much an unknown; she can't tell what his opinions are or what he's likely to do in a situation. She doesn't like it, but she's also not going to go assuming the worst about him.
Why is Vincent annoyed at other members of Iolite?
Well, Yuta flat-out told him to his face that he doesn't trust him, except not to hurt the team, which definitely hurts! Back when the team was still starting out, Vincent had a wealth of confidence and trust in Yuta, so it's not really cool when someone you like says things like that . . . But Vincent stopped caring about it. Feelings get in the way. Kyouko is . . . Well, she's not any less fun, but she has made it super-super clear that she doesn't really want to play along with him. There's still some cat and mouse, but he really does like her, gosh. It just happens that setting her off happens to be when she's most amusing. Yellow annoys the hell out of Vincent, so he will never spend more than five seconds if he must with her.
So, that's pretty much it! It doesn't really bother him, but it does help to reinforce the idea that the team is something he needs to use, not be a part of.
They're so young. Part of the problem Jaina has getting along with Iolite is because she has a little trouble not thinking as an adult she knows better.
Individually, Jaina likes Obsidian and thinks he is pretty awesome--partly because FLYING is awesome. She doesn't have a hang on how the dragon's thought processes work, and she isn't the twin to look to for that kind of thing.
Yellow is a cute little brother figure to watch out for. The picture of innocence. A bit of a liability if things get rough.
Kyouko is a little brat.
Yuta is an all right kid, but definitely awfully jaded for his age.
Aradia hasn't introed yet.
She actually really liked Duke, from when they did interact. He was a reasonable fellow and struck her as a rare responsible adult.
Does Vincent know Jacen, and do you expect him to have any particular thoughts about the twins when Jaina finally gets around to actually telling the team?
